Nadaswaram: An Overview
Nadaswaram is a traditional South Indian wind instrument, often revered for its powerful and auspicious sound. Typically made from wood, it is a staple in Carnatic music and is frequently played at religious ceremonies, weddings, and cultural festivals. The instrument is known for its ability to evoke deep emotions and is often accompanied by the thavil, a type of percussion instrument.
