Dhakshineshwar Kali

Dakshineswar Kali Temple is a famous 19th-century temple near Kolkata, dedicated to Goddess Kali. Built by Rani Rashmoni in 1855, it's known for its nine-spired architecture and as the place where saint Ramakrishna served and had spiritual experiences.

Arrive in Bangalore

Today we do some light exploration in Bangalore followed by free time for solo exploration and shopping. Tonight we will have a group dinner and get ready for the next few days.

Bangalore

Wake up, packed breakfast and head to the airport for our first segment trip - Calcutta! Upon arrival we will check in and relax and do a historic site visit tonight.

Calcutta

Today we will visit two famous Temple - Dhakshineshwar Kali Temple and Kalighat Kali Temple. These are the two most famous Temples in Calcutta. This evening we will do some light sight seeing and relax!

Today we will do some local sight seeing including Mother Theresas Home. We will go to some smaller, but powerful Temples before wrapping up and relaxing for the night.

Early breakfast and a trip to the airport to head back to Bangalore! Upon arrival, check in and relax. Today will be a day to repack and try to do some quick laundry if time permits.

After breakfast we leave Bangalore and head to Mysore. Some sight visits along the way!

Local sight seeing in Mysore this morning and get back to the hotel for a evening cultural show!

After breakfast, check out and head to Mangalore. Known for its majestic beaches and famous Temples.

After breakfast we head out to Udupi. Here we will check in and do some local exploration.

Today we will do a day trip to the famous Sringeri Temple which is one of the 5 peetams established by the Great Shankaracharya.

After breakfast we drive to Goa! A city known for its beautiful beaches and cultural heritage. Local sight seeing and relaxing today.

FAQ's

We know traveling abroad could be scary, we assure you OneHome Global is committed to giving you a very safe, stress-free and enjoyable experience. To further assure you, please check out some FAQs below!

Do I need to be religious to attend?

Definitely not! We will be covering a lot of Temples, but the tours will also be heavy on history, architecture and culturally immersive!

Is the water safe?

Bottled water is the only water anyone should be drinking on the trip. OneHome will ensure bottled water is made available throughout the day to ensure hydration is maintained.

Can we shop?

Of course! We will have allocated time throughout the trip for shopping. We will also have a few days at the beginning and the end of the trip designated just for this purpose.

Where will we stay?

OneHome will only be booking accommodations that meet 3-star standards or higher. In some rural towns, hotels will be 3 star hotels. Examples of which are: GRT Regency in Kanchipuram. 

What if I get sick?

OneHome will have contacts with medical staff in every town we visit. Don’t worry, we will take care of you! If hospitalization is needed, we will be working with a few doctors to get you the best care needed.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes, of course! This trip is for everyone. All children below the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Will COVID-19 protocols be followed?

Yes, we will be following all covid-19 protocols according to Tamil Nadu state guidelines and North America guidelines.

Can I wash my clothes?

OneHome will help coordinate a weekly washing drop off costing around 300 rupees for 4kg per person. If you need any immediate washes, everyone is allowed to utilize hotel wash services directly.

Do I get a room to myself?

If you want a single room, please reach out to us. The packages are for 2-3 person sharing basis.
